Facility Management is "The practice of coordinating the physical workplace with the people and work of the organization. It integrates the principles of business administration, architecture, and the behavioral and engineering sciences." (IFMA)

ESSEX's contribution to the practice of facility management is a data based management tool based on a keen understanding of the profession, and the integration of engineering sciences into the process.

Our database system is an intuitive, illustrated and maintainable front end to a data-base loaded with facility data using a Microsoft compatible framework. Our engineers populate the data base, but our project planners customize the data field presentation and data retrieval with client input from the facility manager and their users.
