This development was designed on the water’s edge to mimic a 1930’s Atlantic coastal village. Dining, entertainment, and shopping are all located on the property, with the Inn serving as the main attraction. Completed in 1996, the resort Inn has 872 rooms, five floors, five restaurants, and 20,000 SF of flexible function and meeting spaces. These multi-use spaces include a 10,000 SF ballroom, 14 break-out rooms, outdoor pavilion, and business center. (IE) |

Design and reconstruction of the five-star 196-key resort and golf course. The facility suffered significant hurricane damage from Hurricane Lenny in 1999 requiring substantial reconstruction. The project was divided into multiple parts including storm-water protection, beach restoration, pier reconstruction, guestroom reconstruction, pools and amenities, and FF&E procurement and installation in order to meet the reopening deadline of November 2000. The new facility includes a variety of rooms from spacious guest rooms and suites to exclusive villa and estate homes, Great House with Conference center, Spa, tennis center, four restaurants, and world class golf course. $150 million demolition and construction project. Total demolition of the former Cocoloba resort allowed for the construction of the new 36-acre mixed-use resort development which includes a five-star 50-room hotel, 36- unit condominium complex, and 38 single-family villa residences.
